So I haven't written anything in a while because it seems like I'm always so busy. I know I'm not really that busy, but everytime I do have a chance to write something, I'm usually too lazy to. Well, what's new...not much. I'm making a woman's suit right now and that's fun. I've had a lot of projects lately (a garment a week, a pair of shoes a week, a couple water colr illustrations a week, etc.). Luckily I enjoy what I'm doing. I haven't talked to Adrian in like forever. I miss her. I wish she was here and we could hang out and check out boys. <br /><br />There's this guy I met a few weeks ago, that I admire from a far. I'm trying my best to not get too caught up in that 'cuz any hope of a relationship is really unrealistic and he's too old for me. But, I really do admire him, he's so creative and multi-talented and fun and cute. Maybe I really just wish I were more like him. <br /><br />I don't know what I'm gonna do when I get my degree in a year and a half. I'm scared to go out into the real world. I mean I hate working, bosses scare me.

So last Friday was the most wonderful day! First me and Stephanie went to the Bead Show in Santa Monica where we didn't have to pay to get in or to park. Then we bought stuff to make cute earings and then super pretty rings. On the way back to the car we went into an art gallery and we began talking to one of the artists. He mentioned that he used to cut hair before he started painting and then I asked if he still did and he said that he did from time to time. So then of course he knew that I wanted my hair cut and said that that day would be the best time to do it and to just give him 10 minutes to set up. So I got my hair cut by a cute hipster artist in an art gallery! How awesome is that?! So now I not only have a hair stylist I can count on, but a cute artist friend in Santa Monica. :)

Well, I guess it has been a long time since I've up dated. I haven't been doing much other than school stuff, since I started three weeks ago. It's been fun, I like my classes and my roommate. We have fun talkin' trash and being jerks. <br /><br />In Young Career Wear we're making men's suits which is really cool. My group has chosen the greastest fabrics and color combinations and our pieces should all look really good together. I'm excited!!! The other classes that I'm excited about taking are shoe design and fashion illustration. Fashion Illustration is all in watercolor, and it's my first time using that medium since I was like 10 or something. But, I'm remembering how much I like to draw and do all that stuff. <br /><br />So, my social life...non-existent at this point. But, I'm probably half ass stalking some mildly attractive boy at Woodbury. I'd tell you who, but then you'll tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends and so on and so on...you know how these things go. Just kidding there's no one worth going through all that trouble for.

So my life really sucks right now. Okay, so I shouldn't complain, it's not like I'm seven years old and starving and dying of AIDS in Somolia or anything, but I've had some pretty lousy luck of late. <br /><br />So, first off, Jerkface reaffirms every negative thought I've ever had of him and deeply hurts my feelings, then my roommate and I don't get to keep our dorm room due to horrible advertising for the reserving date, then I was informed that if I don't come up with my MMR immunization record in a month I'm booted from the dorms completely, then I didn't make Dean's list this semester because my bitch Public Speaking teacher gave me a C, then two of my grandparents got sick and ended up in the hospital, then I got in a car accident that totalled my truck which thus far has forced me to cancel all fun stuff, and none of the places I've applied to work for have even called back. There's other little things that go with all this bad luck but they're probably not worth mentioning. (and please don't ask about the accident, i really don't like talking about it)

That's alright though because all the people who actually bother to read my journal have probably already heard about my small catastrophes about a dozen times. In any case, life isn't bad. I feel as though I finally have love in my life even if it does turn out to be a figment of my imagination, for now, it feels good. <br /><br />Schools good too; it keeps me busy and, at the moment, it's fun. The girl who was supposed to be my roommate, Stephanie, never started started the semester. She has mono unfortunately :( She should be returning in the Spring, so for the moment, I kinda have a huge single.

    <lj:music>Belle & Sebastian (of course)</lj:music>

So, my last big night out for the summer was last night. Gary and myself went to see the ever beautiful and soothing, Belle & Sebastian in concert at the Greek Theatre. They were great, of course, and Bright Eyes were pretty good too. They played older songs and a few newer ones. The played upbeat, really dancy songs and slow mellow songs. The atmosphere of the Greek was the perfect setting for their timeless music. At the end of their scheduled set everyone waited for the encore. So they came back out and did "Video Killed the Radiostar" with their producer, who is the original frontman of the Buggles. It was awesome. So, as we left the Greek we tried calling Christian who had also been in attendance. We got a hold of him and decided to meet at the Echo in Echo Park for Club 82. Upon arrival, I met "Tiffany and Gaymundo", who have to be the cutest gay couple ever. So, the club was fun, there were more hot gay boys than I could ever count and myself, Gary, Dihya, Christian, Ashley, Greg, Emily, Anthony, and Raymundo danced the night away. It was a nice ending to a summer of music and dancing.

Today was my last day at work, it was cool I guess, we threw a party to say good bye to all the kids at the park. They're all pretty good kids, I love them and I'll miss them. Ugh, I'm so glad to be done though. Yesterday, when I went to buy the cake for the kids' party, I saw Kameron. Man, I love Kameron! I'm so glad I saw him before the summer ended. I got his number and a hug! He has such a nice body too...I should stop.

So, the good news is that work ends in two days, the bad is that school starts in six. I'm so over work, but I'm not sure I'm ready for school. Until school begins I'm gonna keep trying to have as much fun as I can, while I can. <br /><br />Last weekend was awesome, first me and Gary picked up Adrian. When we got back home I had to get all dolled up to go out with my friends. We went to Barnes & Noble and hung out with some of the kids including Enoch and Scott, and I met Nolan for the first time, I like him, he's a cool 15-year old. then Dihya called and told us about some bro party and so went to check it out. It was straight out of a movie, beer bongs, kegs, regular bongs, a bunch stupid high school kids... So everyone was like "This is bad let's get out of here." So we left, but before getting onto the freeway we called the cops on the dump high school retards and ruined their party. When we reached our rendezvous I saw Sadie for the first time in three years, it was great she's awesome.<br /><br />The following night we when to Del Taco and saw Kaity and Amanda and then these stupid hardcore kids came up to us and started talking to us then one of them asked for my phone number, of course I said no and his friend was all like " Dude, she likes girls." He must have said it three times, it was funny, I just sat there and said nothing. After Del Taco we went to Barnes Nobles again and then to the mall where I saw Joey and Justin, which was cool. We went to Dairy Queen from there and we Jen, Amrah, Scott, and Enoch hanging out outside. All of us except Jen went to my house to watch Harold and Maude. Enoch ate all the candy my parents put out in the family room it was so cute. Then he couldn't believe that the kid and the old lady have sex, it was hilarious. Later that night Dihya joined us and a giant cable spool seemed to have quite randomly rolled down the hill and into Scott's back bumper, we took it as a gift from God and decided to take it to Adrian's to use as a table. So that was my odd and often humorous weekend :)

So, on Tuesday, myself, Amrah (I hope I spelled it right), Greg and Amrah's friends, Enoch (once again I hope I spelled it right)and Scott went to Incahoots in Scott's cool Volkswagen van. And yeah, Scott and Enoch are like the two most beautiful men I have ever seen/ had the privilege of hanging out with (and they work at the Gap?!). Anyways, 80's night, this time, was pretty good. We all danced the whole night and Scott and Enoch are really great dancers. Jeez, what more can one ask for? Straight boys that dress really hot, dance really awesome, listen to good music, and aren't drunken, drugged-up assholes. Well anyway they both, obviously, have a crush on Amrah and I can't blame them, she is really cute (lucky girl).

He gave me a Felix Da House Cat sticker and boy bate! I love Alex! Then he brought me up to speed on a bunch of our old friends. It was fun. :)
